A skybridge full of animals that welcomes everyone flying into Knoxville and sends them off again.

The brief. Zoo Knoxville wanted a high-impact presence at McGhee Tyson Airport. The skybridge connector is one of the busiest pedestrian corridors in the region, so the goal was to turn it into an immersive visual moment that builds awareness and drives zoo visits from travelers, tourists, and locals alike.

The approach. I designed two panoramic panels scaled to the bridge's exact structure, readable up close and from across the terminal. Bold animal portraiture leads, and short, warm headlines do the work in a single glance: “Your Ticket to Wonder” and “Wonder Takes Flight at Zoo Knoxville.” Zoo Knoxville's brand system ties the piece to on-site signage while keeping the message tuned for an audience on the move.

Production. I prepared precision mechanicals with exact bleed, crop, and resolution specs for large-scale architectural vinyl and the airport's installation requirements.

The outcome. Installed in the TYS pedestrian skybridge, it's now one of the region's most visible advertising assets, greeting thousands of travelers to East Tennessee every day.
