The brief. Through a yearly sponsorship partnership, Claiborne Hauling adds Zoo Knoxville graphics to one of its trucks. This year's canvas was a 2025 Western Star 49X quad-axle dump truck with a cream cab and a solid black bed.
The approach. I designed custom graphics for three surfaces, each built to exact dimensions: the bed (51″ × 168″), the hood (44″ × 67″), and the tailgate (54″ × 76″). Every panel was mocked up on a 3D model and scale blueprint of the truck to lock in placement across body lines and hardware. The zoo's branding was adapted for heavy equipment and highway speeds, with a big rhino, a bold headline, and a QR code to plan a visit.
The outcome. The truck now operates on regional roads as a mobile sponsorship asset for Zoo Knoxville.
